About Delhi NCR

Based on the area of National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT) in India, the National Capital Region (NCR) has been mainly developed to compensate for overpopulation, along with the purpose to meet the demand for industrialization in the capital region. The NCR intersects boundaries of several states including Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Being the largest agglomeration in the world, Delhi / NCR covers approx. 33,758 sq. km. area with a population of over 17 million people. Major cities of Delhi / NCR are Delhi, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad.

The region consists of more than 20,000 companies including a good number of startups entering the market every year.  As per a report, the number of startups has significantly grown in business-to-business (B-to-B) segment, especially in verticals like E-commerce, Healthtech, Fintech and Aggregators.
